DESCRIPTION:

Antique C.1840-1860\'s Antique 19thC IRISH FOLK ART Hand Made WOOD Wooden MARQUETRY Killarney ware BOX. Features Clovers and knotted Inlay. It is Very Clean with NO Odors or insect damage. There is some wear here and there and some losses to inlay in spots and to bottom edges (SEE CLOSEUPS) Nothing unexpected from age and actual use as it was definitely not stored away and forgotten.. The Box is TIGHT and can be used. It has a hinged lid (Replacements I installed) NOTE: (I Forgot to take a pic of the inside). It is clean and wood (never lined). VERY GOOD Piece for display or use (AGAIN THERE ARE a few losses-See images) . Would look great in any Folk Art or Primitive decor.
