Antique 19thC Meissen Porcelain Reticulated Saucer Porzellan Untertasse German:
$349.00

For sale is a fun saucer made by Meissen in the mid to late 19th century. I have never seen a reticulated saucer like this by them but they do make plates like it and this is likely a saucer for an ecuelle so it makes sense that they exist :) The saucer is hand painted with lots of scattered flowers and bugs but the best part of this piece is the fancy reticulated rim with lots of flowers and gold highlights. The center of the saucer has a small raised rim to hold the cup in place. The piece is in perfect condition with some minor wear to the gilding mostly to the central ring and a firing flaw on the very edge. The saucer is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark (first choice) underneath as well as an impressed number as shown. It is 0.625 inches tall and 6.25 inches in diameter.
