This is a very fine oil painting on wood panel depicting a Dutch scene of a cottage along a lake that has frozen over, ice skaters enjoy the day. Signed in the lower left but can\'t read the signature. Franck #2 is writtenon the back of the painting, possible owner or framer.Painting shows it’s age with a few specks on the surface, but overall in remarkable unrestored condition. The antique painting has been mounted into a contemporary wood frame. Painting size is 8” x 6 1/2”. Frame size 14 1/2” x 12 3/4”.
