The case of the clock is rosewood and the clock slides into a footed stand. The stand is carved with balls above the feet. The face of the clock is porcelain and the piece that surrounds it is gold gilt brass which is finely engraved with a swastika pattern and a scene with trees, plants, a deer, a crance, 3 scholars, and a young boy. There are words on the back of the movement which are meant toimitate European makers marks because this clock was probably made for export. The sides are pierced and are covered with blue silk. The front and back of the clock open by sliding the rosewood framed glass doors up. The case of the clock is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or breaks and still retains the original finish. The clock still has a key and runs but it may need to be serviced. The clock stands 18\" in height, 12 1/4\" in width, and is 9\" in depth.
