A very fine 19th century Edme Samson in the style of Chelsea figurine of a musician playing pipes with a dog at his feet standing on a beautiful scrolling rococo base. Marked with a gold anchor to the back. Measures 8\" or 20cms in height.Condition- We have indicated in images a pen pointing to specific areas we note any damage.After close inspection we note:There are some losses to petals and foliage, the main area of loss is photographed. The rest are minor nibble to petals. The pipe is missing the bottom part. There is also a firing crack to the back on one of the tree branches. These are non detract-able on the whole and commensurate with age.Please see images for better representation than I can describe and super size for very close examination of this lovely piece.We carefully pack all our items for worldwide shipping. Condition- We have indicated in images a pen pointing to specific areas we note any damage.
