I have three of these incredible very old antique Angel sculptures in various poses, clothes and instruments. They have wire armatures with bodies sculpted from Terra Cotta or Red Clay. They are hauntingly beautiful from the 1800s or maybe earlier. They do have typical condition issues with figures as old as these, although this particular piece does in fact have all of her limbs, but there is wear to the instrument. The faces and wings happen to all be in excellent condition. This piece is app. 4.75\" x 4\" x 3.75\" dressed in red and green holding a mandolin. They really are stunning and would look great as Christmas ornaments on a tree or above a nativity. Please enlarge the photo and see my other items as well!Payment is due within two days of sale end.
