Today we are offering an antique leather shot pouch in an unsual shape. Instead of having a rounded bottom (tear drop shape) it has a 5 sided bottom. This pouch is made of thick, sturdy leather with a nice polished finish. It is hand stitched around the sides. Comes complete with the lead shot balls we found in it. Measures 4 5/8\" length x 2 3/4\" across. We\'re unsure of the actual age but believe this piece dates to the mid 19th century and was probably made in the US. This piece is one of two antique shot pouches/flasks we recently found in an old Rhode Island estate, dating to the Civil War.Today we are offering an antiqueleather shot pouch inan unsual shape.
