This is a 7 & 5/8\" serving bowl in the early Oriental pattern by Ridgway of England. It dates to the period when the English were trying to complete with the Chinese Export blue and white ware. It has an elaborate mark on the base with the name of the pattern and \"Ridgway\" across the bottom. It has an unevenly scalloped rim with the remnants of a gold band around the edge. It is in good condition with a shallow chip on the edge that is totally stable and no cracks or other damage.
