Antique 23.5\" German Bisque Art Character Series named Gretchen 114 by Kammer and ReinhardtWhat a wonderfully large antique German bisque art doll by Kammer and Reinhardt! This is a model 114 known as \"Gretchen\" with NO DAMAGE AND NO REPAIR. Her head is free of chips, cracks, or hairlines. The back of the head is marked with, \"K * R 114 60\".This beautiful doll is sculpted after the look of the real grandchildren of the Kammer and Reinhardt doll making firm. She has blue painted eyes with thick accenting black eyeliner, painted tapered eyebrows, closed mouth with very full lips in a pouting expression, and antique blond mohair wig with braids tucked up on top of her head. She is just so real looking - you wait for her to ask for cookies!She is on her original composition body that has its original finish and is marked in red with \"Heinrich Handwerck Germany\". Heinrich Handwerck made the bodies for K * R. She is wearing a lovely antique cotton dress with lace detailing and blue silk ribbon throughout.Matching antique undergarments and pantaloons and cream colored antique socks and shoes complete this absolutely prime German antique character doll.
