BRASS and onyxThe pieces are marked with the makers mark shown in the 10th photo We were able to find that this makers mark which consists of a basic MasonicSquare and Compass positioned in the Fellowcraft Degree, along what could be a ships wheel and or pulley with hammers and a scroll that reads “Carpe Diem” which is latin for \"Seize the Day”. There is also a mold or foundry number under the carpe diem markanother inkwell with this same makers mark can be found on the Phoenix Masonry Library and Museum very detailed decoration on the setSatyr / faun /Devil heads on the set
