Antique 5 Stack Solid Quartersawn Oak BARRISTER BOOKCASE Gunn

A handsome antique SOLID Quartersawn Oak Barrister Five Stack Bookcase from circa 1915!

This bookcase was manufactured by Gunn in Grand Rapids Michigan.

The finish is an older professional refinish.

All original wavy glass.

All Old Original Hardware.

All original backs.

(Three backs have had some veneer loss but that will be hardly noticeable.)

Inside the bookcase someone has installed a small wood strip to display plates and bowls. If one would like to display books; the small wood strip would be easy to remove.

Please note the beautiful top and bottom caps featuring the style called “bull nose”. Also note the grain of the quartersawn oak for it is so very pretty.

This wonderful Barrister Bookcase is in very nice condition!

Would look great in any décor!

A very solid piece and ready for someone to store a heavy bookload!

Dimensions: 34 ¼ inches wide by 77 ½ inches tall by 12 ¼ inches deep (outside dimensions).

Size of Stacks:

One is 15 inches in tall

Two Stacks are 13 inches tall.

Two other Stacks are 11 inches tall.

All are 10 ½ inches deep I.D. by 32 ½ inches wide ID.
