Nice Clown Rolly Polly with a pleasant face -- not too outrageous, but cute. He is 7\" tall and probably papier mache. It looks like he is carrying akitten in his right arm. It is embossed, but not painted. You can slightly see the image in the1st and 2nd pictures. He has a bell of some type on the inside that makes a noise when you shake him. This could be made by Schoenhut, but is not marked anywhere.
He was probably made in the early 1900s and is in fairly good condition for the age. There are a few places where the paint has chipped off. You can see this in the pictures. I took a picture of each side.
This would be a great addition to an antique toycollection. I am presently selling a few other rolly poly toysin my store. My last picture shows 3 of these, but only theClown shown separately is for sale with this listing.
