This sale is for a gorgeous pair of candlesticks by Ackermann & Fritze Royal Vienna. Each one measures approximately 6 1/2\" high and 4 1/2\" wide. Both are marked on the underside with a blue beehive mark over the word \"Austria\"and impressed with some numbers and letters that are hard to make out. One stick is titled \"Kuche\" for kitchen, and the hand painted scene shows a boy in an apron kissing a girl holding what appears to be a tray of lobster. The other stick is titled \"Toast\" and shows a girl and a boy having a champagne toast. This set is in very good condition and there are no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is some discoloration to the gold, particularly noted along the top rim but overall this set is in excellent condition.
