I am offering this large Cuckoo Clock from American Clock Co. Philadelphia. The clock is 25\" tall not including the pendulum x 17-1/2\" wide x 9\" deep. The clock utilizes three weights to operate the time and the two wooden cuckoo birds. I purchased this at an estate sale and they told me this clock was running until the bellows wore out. Since they could not find the weights I am unable to verify this. There are small pieces of wood that are missing but this would still be an unbelievably beautiful clock if someone puts in a little time. The pendulum is included but I do not have the pendulum rod.If it is running that would be an added bonus.I know in the beginning the American clock company was having clocks sent over from Germany\'s black forest until they began making their own. I feel this is between 1890 and 1900 time frame. Since the movement does not appear to have a makers mark I am unable to tell the actual maker.
