This listing is for an antique carved angel entitled genius. It was found in a Pennsylvania barn loft. It has multiple areas of damage including a broken arm and missing those into missing wings as pictured. All that said it is still a pretty amazing object. It was carved out of a block of wood that was multiple pieces of wood that had been attached together and then carved. There is some sort of a brown glaze or lacquer on the surface that has largely worn away as well. The sculpture appears quite early we are listing it as 19th-century to play it safe. The Sculpture measures about 9.25 inches tall 6.75 inches wide and about 3 inches deep. Due to the condition issues it is being sold as is.
