Up for sale are from mymostrecent finds! This very ornate hand carved stone seal or pendant came from a wonderful estate of a man who wasdescribedby his widow as a \'an amateur Indian Jones of sorts\'. He was an early film documentary film maker who travelled and explored all overtheworld and hence where his extensive collection of interesting and amazing artifacts came from.
This beautiful piece was told to me to be from Iraq in origin as theoriginalowner had a vast collection of such artifacts, collected in the 50\'s and 60\'s. It has a wonderful patina and is carved with by a skilled artisan hand. Theitem looksvery ancient and there are no signs of modern tooling.
I am not an expert and have no paper work toaccompanyingany of the pieces from this collection, but based on the story of the former owner\'s widow, I believe them to be old. Please use your ownjudgementbefore offerding :)
