Up for sale is this fantastic Art Deco period lamp base. The cast iron base has fantastic lines and triangular designs that really feel to me like Egyptian influence. The center of the lamp is just as unique and eye catching, it is a pink or peach tinted with spiderweb or just random lines over a reflective background. I am guessing it may be some kind of art glass or Mercury glass. I tried to show in the photos whereas it is a little offset at the bottom and there is a small chip in the rim on the underside, you\'ll never notice either unless you are closely inspecting the lamp. Also there is some soiling or darker spots on the top of it running on the lines, this will come off with some elbow grease. This lamp was rewired at some point not too long ago, and it does work. If you like funky and unusual antiques make sure you take a good long look at this, the more I look at it, the more I want to look at, a really fascinating and unique lamp. The base measures about 7 3/4\" x 5\", it\'s about 19 3/8\" tall to the very top of that bolt on the harp, 12\" to the top of the socket.
