I brought this antique pocket watch which does work, to the two watchrestorers in New York’s diamond district for a repair price quote. I did nothave it repaired (you can) and this is what they said:

1.“To repair this watch would require buying arare part only 3 suppliers sell and the repair cost is $220 which comes with a6 month warranty.”

This watch is 27 millimeters wide.

It does not run (see above).

It says “Argent Dore” inside but with the naked eye I can make out “DOR”.

It is silver with gold plated on it.

The enamel on the side of the two ladies has some tiny nicks andsurface scratches, but in no place does the metal under it show. You do seeguilloche etched metal showing the rays of the sun under the sky portion of theenamel.

The two maidens appear to be sharing a secret or having a nice littletalk or rest. One is semi reclining the other is whispering into her ear.

The enamel on the side of the clock face has enamel flea bites/chipsnear the 10o’clock and 12 noon location and the glass has surface scratches.
