Description of item for sale:

This oil oncanvaspaintingof a reclining woman is from the late 1800\'s/early 1900\'s. The painting is signed but we were not able to decipher the artist\'s signature. Regardlessthe painting is skillfully created and the colors arevibrantdespite the paintings age. There is somecrazing in the paintingand a few cracks (see photos)butthe paintingis very stable with no chipping/flaking. It appears that the painting has been remountedandthenew frame has bowed slightly, leaving smallgaps between the painting and the frame (see photo). Thereare also a few small chips in the frame. Dimensions: 35\" wide,25.5\" high and 2\" thick in its frame. Thecanvas size is30\" wide and 20.5\" high. (3960)
