This rarepiece of top quality fine English Silver is in absolutely outstanding condition, whichtypifies everything the discerning collector would want to find in a piece ofthe finest Arts & Crafts Silver. The hallmark is crisp and clear (pleasesee second photograph) and the \'Celtic Knot\' engraving is similarly pristine,whichcharacterizesthe overall condition of this piece - it is truly inexcellent vintage condition.

TheNapkin Ring is just over 1 1/2 inches high (40mm) and it has a diameter of 13/4 inches (46mm) and it weighs 26.1 grams. It is inscribed with the name \'E.M. Wimperis\', which almost certainly means it belonged to a descendant of thenoted artist & engraver - Edmund Morison Wimperis (6 February 1835 Flocker\'s Brook, Chester - 25 December 1900 Southbourne, Christchurch, Hampshire), who was amember of The Arts Club.
