Main Description

This fine antique Austro-Hungarian diamond brooch has been crafted in 19k yellow gold.

The circular pierced decorated frame has a central flower design claw set with a 0.62ct Old European round cut diamond.

Eight flower buds claw set with Old European round cut diamonds emanate from the central design.

A further seven diamond set flower heads alternate with old Dutch cut diamond set leaf motifs complete the upper design.

The lower portion of the brooch has a pierced decorated scrolling leaf composition, embellished with a claw set Old European cut diamond and several old Dutch cut diamonds.

Suspended from the lower portion of the brooch are four Old European cut diamonds individually displayed to the removable articulated flower drop attachment; this provides the option of wearing the brooch in two different forms.

The brooch is hallmarked to the reverse with the Autro-Hungarian hallmark (dog\'s head), Vienna Assay Office mark (A) and fineness mark for 19ct/800 (4), and secured with a hinged pin and clasp.

This fine antique brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the central diamond, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card (shown).

Condition

This brooch is a very good gauge of gold, fine quality, set with very high color graded old cut diamonds.

The brooch is in excellent condition with a clear augmented dog\'s head hallmark.
