Antique Bermuda P.O.W. Wooden Cane or Walking Stick with Brass & Iron Ferrule from 1915. In very good age appropriate condition. See pics for further condition evaluation. Impressed in block print on the handle reads \' BERMUDA P.O.W. 1915\'. Measures approximately 37\" long. \'T\' Handle measures approximately 5\" long. 1 1/4\" Brass & iron ferrule tip.

In 1914, at the very outset of WWI, 58 German merchant seamen were captured by the English and interned on Port Island in Hamilton Harbor. This cane was most probably made by one of them.
