This quart Ball Mason \"3 L\" label jar was found in a root cellar I was told was built around the Civil War era! All stone/rock & mortar construction! We found lots of treasure but let\'s get on with this jar. It is light aqua glass with many imperfections like air bubbles, hair line fractures, and wavy glass. I did my best on the pics for condition & description so study them closely please! This is the exact jar & Ball lid, (zinc) you will receive. I also noticed the bottom of this jar appears to have been marked \"3\" as well as the over-stamped \"III\" Roman numerals. This could also be a manufacturing error. I\'m no pro but this is the first Ball jar I\'ve seen like this! Feel free to ask questions and thanks for looking!
