Lovely antique large L & B,Lempereur & Bernard, brass/bronze, table oil lamp. With very pretty ruffeled top glass shade. With wick, burner and marked flame spreader. Patended in 1884 in Liege. (L&B US Patent #333,237, Dec. 29.1885.)This lamp was made for the USA market and sold by a company called The Belgium Lamp Co. in the USA. L & B was a Belgium lamp company from Liege. This lamp is called a center draft lamp with flame spreader.The flame spreader is marked: Lempereur Bernard Brevette. As is the lamp aswell as shown close up in the photo's. These lamps are very hard to find in this great condition,working and with it's flame spreader. It also has a beautiful detailed base.

In very good condition. Normal wear considering age and use.Shade has a very small line as shown close up in very last photo. View photos for all the wonderful details as they are part of the description.Lamp will be disassembled for safe shipment. Wine glass and flowers are not included.
