Greetingsfolks, while it\'s been many months since I listed items from the barns andgarages of my parents’ 60+ years of collecting (120+ years collectively), I\'mhere for another round of incredible collectibles that you simply won\'t findanywhere else. They had good taste and bought and warehoused anythingthey fancied. Sadly, I am left to sell these things off. I likereal \"sale style\" sales meaning that the opening offer isreasonable, which is why (by comparison sometimes), the opening offer might seemsuspiciously low. :-)

Here we have a lovely Bell System metal and enamel telephone sign. This is an original - not a reproduction. You might think \"How does she know that?\" Well, my dad was a phone employee starting in the 1950s as a lineman and worked his way up over many years. Along the way, he brought home anything (and everything) phone related. I now have lots of phone signs.

This one is in lovely condition as these things go. There is some surface scuffing and one area that is funky - I\'m not sure what it is so I tried to photograph it for you. This sign is a dark inky blue - not black (though it might look black on your monitor) and the shadow you keep seeing in the pics is my big mellon head - hard to photograph a sign that wants to reflect everything and keep yourself inconspicuous. It measures approximately (just over) 19.75\" long x 3-5/8\" wide. The corners have some bumps and that one area seems to be the clear finish missing (not sure) but on the whole it is clean, shiny and really nice. The back is slightly less clean but it almost looks like that was how it was manufactured. All in all, a great display piece that is SUPER HARD to find.
