Up for offer is a beautiful vintage bird hood ornament / mascot signed by L. Carvin.

This particular hood ornament is marked L. Carvin at the base. On the back there is a foundry mark which reads: BRONZE AG PARIS. Underneath that, it looks like the number 14 is stamped, but I\'m not sure.

It looks to be cast in bronze with a silver or nickel finish.

The diameter of the base is approximately 2 11/16\" across. From the base of the hood ornament to the tip top of the wings this measures approximately 4\" tall.

Application: We\'re not sure of the exact application. It may be a universal accessory, or made for a particular car. Any info about this item is welcome. Please do your own research.

Condition:This is in very good condition. There are some light dings and a little surface finish loss to the top silver or nickel finish. On the side of the base, there are a few light scuff marks / small pits. The wooden base is beautiful!
