This beautiful and unusual Black Silk Chantilly Lace Jacket displays the trademarkgracefulandintricateChantilly lacefloral patterns flowing throughout the jacket. The flowing lines continue in bell sleeves whichround longer in the back,mirroring the jacket hemline, and a lovely scalloped edge which frames the jacket all the way around.
The condition is very good, especially considering its age - nearly 150 years old! The only issueis a break in the lace in the back about 1/2\" in length, visible in several of the pics in the center of the lower back and close up in pic 8. Otherwise, the condition is excellent, with no stains, discolorations, fraysor other damage.
