Antique blown bottle. Estate find, found in a New England cellar. Bottle measures about 6 7/8 inches high and is about 3 1/2 inches in diameter. Color of course varies according to the light, but in my hand and inside the house it appears to be a fairly dark greenish or yellow amber. Bottle has a nice bold blob top and a nice broken pontil. I would date it from sometime in the 18th century into the first half of the 19th century, about 170 or more years old. It has not been cleaned. It has lots of surface wear but I don\'t see any chips or cracks. There is a bubble inside on the shoulder and two or three thin bubbles on the neck. There is a very short line visible inside the bottle on the shoulder but I looked at it under magnifications and it looks like a little streak in the making inside the glass itself. $12.00 covers packaging, shipping, and insurance up to maximum value.
