The brass lid has an embossed design.
Glass insert is original to the inkwell.

Theleather covering has split with age and underside shows wear.
The lid still has some of the ink residue as well as the glass insert.Measurements:
Measures about 2 1/4\" tall and approx. 2 1/4\" in diameter on the bottom.
