DESCRIPTION:Superb Arts & Crafts aesthetic Royal Doulton Biscuit Barrel painted with colorful fishes. Measures about 8.5\" tall from the tabletop to the top of the handle with the handle in the upright position as shown in pic #1. I would consider it a typical size biscuit barrel. Well signed as shown \"Doulton\" with both impressed and painted marks and there is also an artist\'s cypher as shown \"RL\" or similar. I\'m unsure which Doulton artist this is; if anyone out there knows and would care to share their knowledge I\'d love to hear from you. Probably dates ca. 1875 - 1910. Comes from a local Dallas estate, advanced collectors of British art pottery. Guaranteed authentic. The pics tell the rest of the story.

CONDITION: Fleck of paint loss to the mouth of one of the fishes as shown in pic #4. Otherwise, no issues. No chips, cracks, repairs, hairlines, fleabites, stains, or crazing. No re-painting, paint is all-original. No pings, dings, disfiguring scratches, or dents to the metal portions. Lid is the original lid and not a replacement. All the parts tight and secure with nothing loose. The pics are very honest and show the condition well and you will receive the exact item shown in the pics.
