Extremely rare broadside poster advertising a Labor Day gala featuring different Vermont companies of the civil war. One of the earliest Labor Day celebrations ever. It started in 1895 so 1898 is quite early.

Advertises the railroad as well.

Northfield, Montpelier, St Johnsbury, Barre.

Has some loss that could easily be backed when framed. The lettering is all still good. Made of the same paper as pretty much every broadside and flier of the time and could be backed with similar paper or left as is. I have an antique frame that it would fit very well in that you could have for free if you opted to have this personally delivered.
