This antique (late1800s – early 1900s) heavy brass or bronze (the floral bobeches are definitely brass) candle holder (most likely from achurch), measuring 26” across, 20 7/8” tall (on one side, 20 1/4”on the other repaired side), and 6 1/2” wide at the base hasacquired a very dark patina, and includes five 2 3/4” tall (3 3/4”including the stem) vintage flashed red glass votive holders (thecandle holders can hold taper candles as well as originallyintended). The candle holder is in good antique condition with theexceptions of a bent tip on one end, a repaired tip on the other end,a possible missing candle holder portion on each end (where there aretwo drilled holes), scattered wax residue and green discoloration onthe candle holders and brass bobeches, and color loss spots on theinterior bases of the votive cups and wax residue in one.
