Bugis Keris with nice pamor BATU LAPAK
from Celebes / Sulawesi

This is a very nice and original Keris from the Bugis Tribe from Sulawesi/Celebes (Indonsia). This beautiful straight Blade has a very nice pamor on both sides of the Sorsoran. Bugis Kerisses are very hard to find, specially one with a beautiful pamor Blade like this one.The Keris has still a very nice and clear pamor on the blade (see detailed pictures). The name of the Pamor is BATU LAPAK, this is a very positive pamor. This kind of pamor is considered to be very strong and powerfull. The Keriswa forged Blade done by a very good Empu (Keris smith) as you can see.

The pamor is hard to get on a picture. Off course in real vision the pamor is more nice. I\'m not a pamor expert so please check this yourself (see the pictures). This Keris is very old, probably made 18th century.
This Keris has very beautiful handle that is typical for a Bugis Keris, the clothing (scabbard and handle) are less old then the Blade, but original and made for this Keris.

The Blade of this large Keris is +/- 35 cm and the total length of this Keris in the scabbard is 44 cm. Off course the low starting offer is less then the actual value and only to encourage you to give a good offer on this nice item from the old days of Indonesia.
