PENCIL & SEALYou are about to purchase this previously owned antique GEORGIAN silver propelling mechanical pencil by Buttler & Co. LONDON. As you can see, this propelling pencil has beautiful patina from age and has its hallmarks. This mechanical pencil has lead in it and is in good physical and working condition. This pencil will need servicing due to its age, there might lead build up inside reservoir. The slide and propelling mechanism work as they should. The seal is engraved with the previous owners initials. This is a beautiful and great example of an early mechanical propelling pencil.
