There is a card attached to the back from 1939 that states that this piece is 400 years old. The shrine measures 17 3/4\" tall by 9 3/4\" tall and 4\" deep. It is carved and painted wood. The Buddha figure is removeable. And the alter is made in 3 sections. The base the top and he dragons head.
