Here is an antique advertising trivet for the “ Mrs. Streeter’s Magic Fluter and Polisher”, Pat. Sep 19 1876. It shows wear probably from daily use back in it’s day. A variation of this design can be seen on page 157 of, “ the Expanded A to Z Guide to Collecting Trivets”, by Margaret Lynn Rosack. Please ask questions. The trivet is just as it was when I acquired it. It\'s dirty from years of use and then probably more years of hanging in somebody\'s kitchen. It\'s a bit sticky in places. I intended to clean it but I changed my mind. I wasn\'t sure if it would devalue the piece. Our buyer can decide whether or not to clean it. Please, do be aware that it is in \"As Is\" condition. It does NOT have any breaks, cracks, or chips.
