We are listing for your consideration today a great Antique Original Cast Iron Metal Sink Box Decoy in a Rare Canvasback Redhead Sleeper Signed T.W. Megart or Megary. This sink box decoy is in Excellent Condition with pitting to the metal as well as some wear to the paint in areas. The base is very rough, this is how it was made. The paint all looks to be original and this decoy looks like it has been used for hunting. You can refer to the pictures, we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the excellent condition. The decoy measures 10 5/8\" long x 4 5/8\" at the widest x 3 1/4 tall and weighs approximately 12lb. It is signed on the base at the one edge in black paint. We are not sure what area this decoy comes from, definitely a hand made primitive type of sink box decoy, looks to date from the early 20th century. A great roughness to the metal throughout with pitting and roughness that gives it a great feel and look. A wonderful Unique and Rare Sleeping Redhead Sink Box Decoy.
