Antique Celluloid Easter Chick with Jointed Legs, Hat, Tie: Estate :
$12.96
Here\'s an adorable celluloid chick all dressed up for Easter in a hat & tie.
Its jointed legs allow this little chicken to stand unassisted (see 1st photo).
Standing it measures 4 1/2\", sitting 3 1/2\".
It would be a wonderful addition to anEastercollection but also for collectors of chicks & other animals.
Celluloid didn\'t withstand any rough handling, so it\'s a wonder this one survived insuchperfect condition.
There\'s a thin line of paint below the right eye (see 6th photo).
This is from theestate of a wealthy Connecticut family that collected many things, including antiques that appealed tochildren. I will be putting those up on as soon as I can- Ihave no control over what isnext on their list.
