Antique Chalkware Carnival Kewpie Pin Tray, ca 1930

This pin tray was actually won at a traveling carnival back in the 1930's. It has been with the original owner's family since then. Before I took the pictures it was actually stored in a box with packing straw. The box had deteriorated so that it could not be saved. It appears that this has been in storage since it was won. Excellent condition, but it was made with imperfections. Roughness on the bottom edge and some indents on the face of the tray.The tray was painted with these imperfections. Definitely not high quality porcelain, but a carnival chalk Kewpie relic and probably very few of these remain. Measures about 7" across. One of the white Kewpie's is holding a flag with "K" on it. No other signatures that I can find. I believe this to be a very scarce Kewpieitem. Thank you and good luck.
