Antique Lovely Late 19th/Early 20th Century French Carpet Painting
Description:This lovely antique gouache on paper painting was created in France and used
in the development of a woven carpet. The design features graceful
vines with exotic flowers and leaves as well as geometric patterns
throughout. The colors are red, orange, yellow, and white on creme colored
paper. This antique painting would be beautiful framed!

Condition:There are a few holes on the left side of the painting. The large hole is 1\" W x 21\" L. There are tears on the right edges that have been repaired with tape from the back. There are some spots, stains, and surface dirt as well as areas where the paper is crinkled. All fabrics, wallpapers and paintings are sold \"as is\". Our items are vintage and some are more than 100 years old. We try our best to list all imperfections, however on occasion we may miss a few.
