It is a smallsleigh, but a toddler could fit in it,
if it were to beused as a photo shoot prop.
It\'shas such beautiful details,
it\'shand painted and hand carved.
Eachside of the sled has a painting
of an outsidewinter wonderland scene.
The carved ladyon the front has a dog on each side of her.
Therunners are iron with wood.
Abeautiful addition to anyone\'s home.
It\'sin very good condition for it\'s age and use throughout
theyears. Just some minor bits of paint chiped as shown
inphoto\'s.
I have had a couple of antique experts take a look at my sleigh.
It could be a salesman sample model, it\'s probably European,
from the 19th century. This could have been the type of sleigh that was made
for children only with very wealthy parents.
The lady is \"Diana\" goddess of the Hunt (roman mythology) or Artemis (griek)
accompanied by her hunting dogs. She had the power to talk to, and control animals.
But neither expert was 100 % sure of this information
that they gave me, because they haven\'t seen one like this before.
