Antique Chinese 19th Century Qing Dynasty Brass Incense Burner Censor Foo Dog:
$359.00
This is a Chinese piece from the 19th century. It is a beautiful heavy brass incense burner.
I believe it is from the Qing Dynasty period.
The censor is cast brass and is heavy weighing 9 pounds.
The rounded body is decorated with hand carved animals and is supported by three kneeling Buddha figures. There are two handles. The bottom bears a hand carved Xuande seal mark in what I believe is cursive script.
The domed cover is carved with dragons and is pierced with holes. It is topped with a Foo dog form finial.
This measures 11\" tall by 7\" wide.
