This Authentic Antique Chinese Altar Cabinet is handcrafted in elegant Ming Style with straight lines. There is a \"secret compartment\" underneath the three drawers (the place used for storing valuables in the old days).Copper hardware on the drawers.The hardware on the middle drawer has the original lock. The cabinet is handcrafted and structured with wooden pegs and tenon structure, which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Can be used as Low Coffee Table, TV stand or any occasional table. Circa early of 19th century. Original patina and wear. Made from Elm wood with beautiful natural wood grain, the cabinet is solid and has been kept in excellent condition.
