Antique Chinese CarvedWood Scene

This is an antique Chinese wood carving. Redwith gilded figures. Fine old piece has some damage on the perimeter frame. A modern wire hanger has been attached on the back so it can be hung. Also on the back isthe originalred and white paper sticker...this may bean import sticker...not positive. Measurements. It is16\"long x 6\" high. It is almost 2\" thick. Condition (on a scale of poor, fair, good, very good, excellent) isfair to good.It is quite old so the chipping and cracking of the wood is normal. The carved scene is in good condition - damage seems to be limited to the frame. Shipping. This is the shipping price for California to New York. Sale Days. Most weekends are sale days around here. Not every weekend, but most. So come back and maybe that certain someting will be on sale! If it\'s not on sale, ask me to put it on sale for you!

I carefully package each item myself and use hard styrofoam sheets, bubble wrap, peanuts, and newspaper to do the job right. I use new boxes and also recycle older boxes and materials to be as green as possible.

If you don\'t like my price, write and offer me what you\'d like to pay. I may accept your offer, or perhaps suggest a compromise....it never hurts to ask!

I try hard to represent my items as accurately and honestly as possible - damage and shortcomings too. Most of my goods are used, whether they are merely older, or vintage, or a fabulous antique - but they are used. Keep this in mind when considering a purchase - there will be imperfections and signs of wear to one degree or another. If you prefer an item with no blemishes and that is new, I kindly and politely suggest you purchase at a department store or a shopping mall. So unless I say the item is new, pristine, or mint - it\'s used. These items have a history, and actually that is why I love them!
