These beautiful Chinese dolls were in my mother-in-law\'s doll collection. They were given to her by her aunt, from a missionary in China. They are similar to Door of Hope dolls. Their heads are made out of clay, with painted faces and hair. Their bodies are stuffed muslin, with silk clothes, hands and feet. They both measure approx. 11\" tall.The Old Woman has formed and painted black hair. You can see the form line across her head, and her neck has a crack in it (see picture #5) that has been glued. She is wearing authentic intricately hand-made silk clothes (quite faded), with beautiful trimming, and cotton or silk underclothes. Her hands are silk, with 6 fingers sewn in! She has bound feet, with intricate little shoes.The Old Man has formed and painted white hair, and is wearing a silk black cap. The form line across his head is less noticeable. He has a mustache of real hair, that is half worn off (see picture #8). He is also wearing authentic hand-made clothes (quite faded also) with frog closures. His hands are silk, and also has 6 fingers, and is wearing silk shoes.Please ask all questions prior to offerding, and look carefully at all pictures, as they are an integral part of the description.
