Antique Chinese Hand Carved Wooden Camphor Chest Heavy Elaborate

Listed here is an antique Chinese hand carved wooden camphor chest from the early 1900s. It features elaborate relief work of Chinese junk ships sailing on a river with houses along the riverbanks. Each of five sides shows carvings with only the bottom of the base left out for obvious reasons. The sides have two third circle inlaid handles and each of the four feet also show intricate hand carved motifs. A wonderfully beautiful work of art.
Measures 24 3/4” Long x 12 5/8” Wide x 12 1/2” High

Very good condition. Several areas of cracking on the top attachment and throughout the body. Some wear to the original finish in places. Fragrant camphor like aroma still somewhat permeates the inside. See photos.
