Genuine antique jade ring of coin surrounded by celestial clouds

very old hallmarks to inside of band, some not decipherable

A very old ring with the jade mounted to an ancient silver disc then a gold band later

The patina remains, I am reluctant to remove it.

A genuine antique piece of Qing Hetian jade on its original silver disc which has been mounted upon an 18k gold band later(19th Century).

The beautifully translucent jade is carved in the form of a coin surrounded by celestial clouds representing fortune and luck forming a ring of greatness.

Measuring 2.5cms by 1.8cms the 18ct gold band is hallmarked and is quite old also, but from my examination appears to have been added sometime in the 19th Century.

It is important to note the patina to reverse of disc and fine condition of the jade, I have not ultrasonically cleaned this ring as its patina is of utmost importance.

A very rare and significant piece of early jade that may have been an early court piece for sale this week.
