Antique Chocolate Mold — comical duck

Made in Germany

The mold itself is about 5.25” high and 5.25” wide; the cavity is about 1.75” x 3”

Easter theme

Ducking with hat and bow tie

The back is the other side of the duck instead of just a mirror image.

2623 engraved on the right end of metal along with “made in Germany”

On the left hand side there’s a number “60”

I don’t know the age but I was personally familiar with this particular mold in 1960. (See below)

This mold is easy to release.

I put four clips on this; you may get a different five clips than the ones photographed.

• These antique items are from my father’s estate: Reinerts Candies, established 1905, Germantown, Philadelphia, PA. I remember seeing the molds and learning about how to unclip and release the chocolate rabbits from the time I was 5 (1960) and earlier.

This one is in very good vintage condition
