This guaranteed all original antique circa 1900, American Folk Art Game board is hand painted in red, black and white. This antique wood checker board retains its original first paint. There is all over deep cracklature or crazing to the paint surface and misc tiny chips in the paint (please see my close ups and englarge my photos and a close up showing a chip with original bare wood underneath). This nice early board measures 19\" x 18 1/4\" and the outer wood frame may be from a later date for display. Back has some marks on it like they were laying out the design and then flipped it over and did the layout there. NO repairs to the board.
