The item you are offerding on is astunning antique brooch by William B. Kerr & Co. of Newark, New Jersey, and dates to circa 1900. The openwork, closed repousse brooch represents a beautiful art nouveau maiden with flowing tresses adorned with large poppy flower blossoms.
Metal: Sterling silver.
Length: About 2 3/4 inches.
Width: About 2 /1/4 inches.
Weight:23 grams.
Markings:Sterling - 1297.
Condition: Normal wear for a pre-owneditem(small dents and scratches in the sterling) but in great antique condition. There is some discoloration and tarnish, I will leave it up to the buyer to clean or do as the wish with the item.
